1930s to 40s McCoy Pottery Vase Green Matte, Green McCoy Vase, Celedon Decor

I found two unmarked Green Matte vases at the same estate, and I'm selling them individually. Both are Nelson McCoy Pottery, which we know because we have found the same vases in either McCoy Pottery catalogs or in other shops. The rounder vase with handles (on the left in main photo) shows up in a 1948 catalog, although the form has been around longer. The narrow more hourglass shaped vase (on right in main photo) shows up in searches as 1930s. Both have similar celadon color glaze, which I've seen described as Matte Green. (I've also seen some described as Aqua, but those appear to have a hint more blue in the glaze.) Prices are different for each, and if you are interested in both (as available) I will do a manual refund of 10%, which I can only apply after the purchase.
- Rounder Vase with Handles: Measures just under 6" tall by about 5" across at the widest point, the base being about 3" in diameter and the mouth just under 3-1/2" in diameter. There is a flaw in the manufacture: a blob of glaze accumulated at the base and now is a rough point. It is not visible except when you turn over the vase. Also other pre-production spots where the glaze did not fully cover the surface and a couple of other spots where there's a rough point where the glaze accumulated and/or a bubble popped, etc. This is all consistent with older McCoy pieces.
- Narrower Vase more Hourglass Shape: Measures 6" tall with a base 3-1/2" in diameter and the mouth just under 3-3/4" in diameter. There are a couple of chips at the base, one where the chip is high enough to just barely see from the side, the other visible on the bottom only. Also pre-production spots where the glaze did not fully cover the surface and a couple of other spots where there's a rough point where the glaze accumulated and/or a bubble popped, etc. This is all consistent with older McCoy pieces.

Returns & Refunds

Do you do layaways?
We can work with you on a payment plan with immediate down payment up to two months for full payment.
Note that layaways past due over 30 days go into default. Once in default the transaction is cancelled and layaway payments are not returnable due to having removed items from the market and losing potential sales.

We do NOT do reserves or holds. Like any business, we use sales proceeds to keep the shop running. We truly can't afford to take items off the market. But even if you have some funds with which to make a down payment, we can do layaway with you. Just convo to say you'd like to do a layaway, and we'll work with you on that route instead of a Hold or Reserve.
Can you tell me SOLD prices?
We get correspondance almost daily asking how much certain items are worth or what the price was of items that have sold, and we can no longer respond to these messages.

The items arrived on a timely basis and were lovingly packed. I had chatted with the seller Roma earlier and she was very helpful and friendly and it seemed like we had known each other for years. Overall, it was highly satisfied with the products and they have a new home in my 50's kitchen on a corner shelf!
