Here we have a row bracelet from Albuquerque, NM iconic Route 66 trading post, Bell Trading. This particular piece is sterling silver with eight snake eye cabochons of bright blue turquoise set in sawtooth bezels. It has a recognizable design, quite popular in that era, and beautiful oxidation that gives a shadowbox effect. The bracelet is special in that is pre-1961, which we know from the Bell logo that features a bell circled by the name BELL JEWELRY. The company started using this logo in 1935, until it was replaced by an arrow post with hanging bell sign hallmark in 1961. The owners of Bell Trading were not Native American, yet the company employed many Native Americans, mostly Navajo. Because we cannot attribute Bell Trading jewelry to any particular person, we call this Native-inspired and/or Southwestern jewelry.

The bracelet measures just over 5-1/4" around using a tape measure on the inside, with a 1-1/8" gap, so 6-3/8" total--perfect for a smaller sized wrist. The bracelet is just under 5/16" wide. The silver carries a lovely patina and natural oxidation, which I've not polished. I'll let the next owner determine if and how much to polish.

Symbolic of a great era in the Southwest--and a truly older piece, which increases its value greatly.

Worldwide Shipping, Processing & Insurance

• We do ship worldwide. Click on the Shipping & Policies tab and enter your zip or postal code into the box to get the shipping cost.

• We generally ship your package 1-3 days after receiving payment, and we use USPS for all items. Occasionally, due to travel, we will take between 5-7 days to get your item to the post office. We will always let you know if that's the case, and you will always have the option to cancel if you need your item sooner.

• We insure items of $50 or more, and for any item costing over $200, we also add signature confirmation wherever it is available.

Returns & Refunds

• Buy with confidence--we accept returns. Per our policies, contact us within two weeks of delivery. Return shipping is at your expense, and the item must be returned in the same condition in which received.

• If your item arrives damaged, photograph it with packaging so we may make a claim to our post office. Etsy and PayPal require that the item be returned before we can issue a refund.

• Since returning an item is no fun for either of us, we encourage you to contact us before buying to ask questions or request additional photos. I'd rather talk you out of something vs your being disappointed with a purchase!
