Vintage Navajo Paul Livingston Turquoise Row Bracelet Approx Size 6.75, Native American Jewelry

This vintage cuff bracelet is stand out for those eight gorgeous green to green-blue turquoise stones--which appear to be from the Tyrone turquoise mine in New Mexico--each generously cut in an oval shape and set inside sawtooth bezels. The bracelet was made by Navajo silversmith Paul Livingston, a highly collected artist. One gallery website had this biography: "Livingston was born in 1954 and has spent his entire life on the Navajo Church Rock Reservation, where he grew up watching with fascination as his silversmith uncle crafted raw metal and stone into beautiful jewelry. Through trial and error and a great deal of help from his uncle, Paul became an accomplished young jewelry maker. By the time he was twenty-two he was ready to launch himself full time into silversmithing. Paul Livingston is an acclaimed Navajo silversmith who favors substance in his metal work and high-quality, natural stones in all his settings. Today, nearly forty years later, Paul is a nationally known and collected jewelry artist. He is particularly known for a style of jewelry most silversmiths shy away from a technique known as ‘cluster and row work’ where multiple stones are used together to form a delicate, colorful designs in jewelry. Even at his age Paul continues to experiment with new jewelry techniques and design styles. The intricate ‘saw work designs’ of his pieces are especially difficult to achieve but so very visually appealing in Paul’s finished work." This is one of the best pieces of Livingston's that I've had the honor of selling. It came to me from my longtime mentor, a former museum curator whose collection of historic jewelry is in the Albuquerque Museum. In addition to the stones, the bracelet's weight and the quality of silverwork is stand-out. Note in Photo 7 how thick the silver is. An heirloom piece for sure!
The cuff measures just over 1/2" wide, and using a soft tape measure in the interior, the length is 5-3/4" long plus a 1" gap--so 6-3/4" total length. Weighs a hefty 62g. In excellent condition.

Worldwide Shipping, Processing & Insurance
• We ship to many parts of the world. On any listing, enter your zip or postal code into the Shipping box to find out if your country is included and how much it will cost. If you find we do not ship to your country, contact us to find out if we might be able to.
• We ship within 1-3 days of order via USPS, Fed Ex, and UPS. and any order of $100 or more will be insured via third party insurance.
• Any package valued at $250 or more will require Signature upon delivery. Third Party insurer requires Signature in certain cases, so please do not ask that we ship without Signature as this creates a risk we are not willing to take.
Returns & Refunds
• We accept returns. Per our policies, contact us within 14 days of delivery. Return shipping with insurance and tracking is at your expense. We process refunds once the item is returned in the same condition received.
• If your item arrives damaged, photograph it with packaging so we may make a claim.
• Returning an item is no fun; contact us before buying to ask questions or request additional photos. I'd rather talk you out of something vs your being disappointed with a purchase!

Do you do layaways?
We can work with you on a payment plan with immediate down payment up to two months for full payment.
Note that layaways past due over 30 days go into default. Once in default the transaction is cancelled and layaway payments are not returnable due to having removed items from the market and losing potential sales.

We do NOT do reserves or holds. Like any business, we use sales proceeds to keep the shop running. We truly can't afford to take items off the market. But even if you have some funds with which to make a down payment, we can do layaway with you. Just convo to say you'd like to do a layaway, and we'll work with you on that route instead of a Hold or Reserve.
